We've been working hard on some cracking new features for our users...
It's been a very busy few months here at Mallzee as our B2C team have been working hard on some great new features. Usability research and testing lie at the heart of how we design and iterate the Mallzee app, so we spent a lot of time surveying our users, as well as holding usability sessions to see what would improve their shopping experience.
In response, we’ve made a few big changes to the Mallzee app:
With the growth of the baby and kids-wear market (currently worth £1bn in the UK and predicted to grow to £1.3bn over the next five years), we've expanded into the sector to offer a one-stop shopping location for the whole family.
It was a natural step as we already work with a lot of retailers who have a junior offering and we're already seeing a fantastic response from our users as they are picking up pieces of kids-wear alongside shopping for themselves. Our retailers in these demographics include River Island, M&S, Joules, Zara and Tu with others being added weekly.
We've just launched a new way of saving products on Mallzee - Collections. This new feature brings the ability to group saved items into collections for occasions like holiday shopping, gifts, by category or grouping outfits together.
This addition to the Mallzee app allows users to curate and organise their whole look as well as making it easier to choose which items to buy. Also, soon our users will be able to share their collections with friends and family to create the ultimate social shopping experience.
It's a pain when you find that perfect piece but it's not in your size! Our search function now has size filters for our most popular sizes, helping consumers quickly find their perfect fit. The result? Users avoid disappointment as they only see styles available in the sizes they're looking for.
It's been a busy few months as we've been focused on launching these new features in advance of Black Friday and there’s a lot more to come before the end of the year.
